John Butler is Head of Mergers & Acquisitions at Perennial Services Group. He is responsible for identifying acquisition opportunities, cultivating relationships with founders and operators across PSG's target verticals, and leading end-to-end M&A execution.

John brings nearly two decades of transaction experience to the role. He spent the last six years driving M&A for private equity-backed platforms in the industrial and consumer services spaces — most recently as Head of M&A at a consumer services platform where he built the corporate development function from the ground up. Prior to that, John spent ten years as an advisor across a broad range of industries and transaction types.

John received his undergraduate degree in Finance from Indiana University, is a native of Chicago, and now lives in Atlanta with his wife, daughter, and son.
